Official: Chipciu signs for Cluj

TRANSFERS CFR Cluj has officially announced that Alexandru Chipciu is joining them. The midfielder leaves Anderlecht and joins his new team mates on a training camp in southern Spain. "I had better offers from Turkey, but Cluj is the perfect team for me," he says.


"Cluj plays European football and fights for the national title. It is also a very beautiful city," says Chipciu on the website of his new club.

"I'm not the player who promises much to create expectations and doesn't respect them afterwards. I want to give 100 percent every game and help the team to achieve their goals."
