Sports director AA Gent to Anderlecht

OTHER Peter Verbeke goes to Anderlecht according to Het Laatste Nieuws. The sports manager of AA Gent gave up his resignation in Ghent after negotiations with the Purple & White. It is expected that Verbeke will start in the scouting.


Verbeke worked at Club Brugge from 2013 to 2018. At Ghent, among other things, he had to oversee the recruitment of the A-team. He recently drew attention to the trade that currently dominates 8 to 12-year-old players.

The arrival of Verbeke will not change the role of Michael Verschueren as sports director at Anderlecht.
