Chadli wants to stay in Belgium

TRANSFERS Now that the European Championship has been postponed by a year, Nacer Chadli wants to continue playing football in Belgium. He does not want to disappear from the eye of national coach Roberto Martinez. He has therefore instructed his manager to reject proposals from exotic destinations. Chadli is no longer interested in a top competition either.


Chadli regularly struggled with minor injuries this season. That makes him decide that his body is no longer made for a physically demanding top competition. He also enjoyed being close to his family this season.

Anderlecht would like to keep Chadli, but financially it will be very difficult. A while ago, Monaco asked 12 million euros for the international who still has a one-year contract. Chadli's salary is not very low.
