DAMES Anderlecht see its chances rise to get Tessa Wullaert. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, purple-white even has the best cards for the top star of Belgian women's football. Or how the coronavirus actually has a positive effect.
 


In a conversation with Het Laatste Nieuws, Wullaert says that she has enjoyed life in Belgium in recent months. "That was much more varied than abroad," she says. With the threat of a new lockdown, it's a good prospect to be close to friends and family in such a case, rather than just being stuck in a small flat abroad.

Wullaert's agent told that he spoke with Atletico Madrid and that Ajax and PSV are also showing interest. "But Tessa is more open than ever to Belgium," it sounds. "Anderlecht is in pole position", Wullaert adds. "When I return to Belgium, it will be at Anderlecht."

The ball is clearly in the Anderlecht camp. Talks already took place, but they were halted due to the corona crisis. Wullaert wants a rol at Anderlecht that is wider than the role of player. She hopes for a project where she can share her experiences from abroad and help advance women's football. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Anderlecht hasn't offered that yet.
