Anderlecht lose first exhibition game with 0-1

GAMES Saturday afternoon was the first exhibition game in preparation for the new season. The match against Charleroi took place behind close doors in Neerpede, ending a final score of 0-1 in favor of the zebras. The only goal was scored by Nicholson from the penalty spot, after a mistake by Kompany.

Charleroi dominated the entire first half, while Anderlecht took over the second half. However, the tie did not materialize.

Almost the entire core went into action, except Wellenreuther, Gerken, Vranjes, Trebel and Vanden Borre.

Next Saturday, Anderlecht will play the second exhibition match against STVV.
