Gillet to Charleroi

TRANSFERS Guillaume Gillet (36), former Anderlecht player, joins Charleroi. Gillet was promoted to Ligue 1 in France with Lens, but his contract was not renewed.


Gillet played for Anderlecht from 2008 to 2016 (one season rented to Bastia). He played 330 games and scored 45 goals for Purple & White. In the 2011-2012 season, he gave Anderlecht the title with a penalty goal in extra time in the home game against Club Brugge. Altogether, Gillet became RSCA champion four times.
