Anderlecht reaches one million followers

OTHER Anderlecht has 1 million followers on Facebook since the begining of this week. This makes it clear how big the club is in Belgium and Europe.

Since Monday, Anderlecht's Facebook page has 1 million followers. The transfers of Percy Tau and Mustapha Bundu brought with them many foreing fans, so the club already has more than a million followers on the online platform Facebook.

This sets it off quite a bit from early pursuers Club Brugge (387,000 followers) and Royal Antwerp (291,000 followers). Standard de Liège (284,000 followers) and Genk (143,000 followers) round out the top 5 in Belgium. These figures only shows that Anderlecht is the biggest football team in Belgium and that is known internationally.
