INTERVIEWS After the game against STVV, Derrick Luckassen spoke to the press at the press conference. The Dutchman was disappointed about the late goal against. "What went wrong, I don't know. I haven't seen the images yet," said the defender. "But it is unfortunate that we take that goal."

The opening goal was an important moment in the match for Luckassen. "After that we were more free in our actions. That gave us a boost and we dared more. The pace was too low for that. We had to let the ball go around faster and destroy STVV. But after Bogdan's goal the game was over. . "

Last week, Anderlecht gave away the victory by wanting to play too much football. Coach Frank Vercauteren had now ordered his defense not to play too dangerous. "Of course we want to play football, but sometimes we can exaggerate."

Yet it also got hot for a while when STVV made 2-1 a few minutes before the end. What went wrong? "I have not seen it again, but something did go wrong. For us as a defense it is a downer. After that 2-0 we said to each other to keep everything closed and not get any goals against. "It is also unfortunate that we take that goal. We want to keep the zero every game. We did not think that the victory was already in. We still had the focus to keep the zero. It is a pity that it did not work out."

At the side of Luckassen, Bogdan Mykhaylichenko celebrated his debut with a goal. "He played well", says Luckassen. "We play differently than he used to. He delivered a good performance and we are happy with that as a player group. If your first game is good and you score, then you are in good shape right away. We are happy for him."
