Coach Kompany no longer a problem for the license committee

Kompany signed up for the next UEFA Pro course on Friday. It will start in January. There are three meetings in three months and he has to follow an internship abroad. Once a coach enrolls in this course, he may coach in the top division provided that at least one assistant already has a UEFA Pro degree. Anderlecht have two, namely Jonas De Roeck and Nicolas Frutos.

The Belgian Football Union received confirmation from the English Football Association last week that Kompany had completed his coaching trajectory to UEFA A there. The English gave Kompany the green light to complete his training as a coach in Belgium.

"The Football Association assured Anderlecht that they are completely in order with the license conditions", Peter Vandenbempt stated in the news on VRT.
