Third draw of the season

GAMES Anderlecht did it the other way around Friday night, instead of relinquishing a lead, it caught up. A goal and assist from Adrien Trebel turned a 2-0 deficit into a draw. Both the 2-1 and the 2-2 from Tau were a gem.

Anderlecht came into the game with difficulty against a very disturbing Ostend. The Purple & White tried, but Ostend refused. In fact, after ten minutes D'Haese took advantage of a not quite attentive Mykhaylichenko to chase a rebound against the ropes: 1-0.

Anderlecht reactd calmy. It was only halfway through the first half that Doku had an opportunity to score the 1-1 on assist from Tau, but he placed the ball just over goal. Ostend took over and had some nice opportunities. In the final phase, the best chances were still for Anderlecht. However, Doku and Nmecha did not score twice.
