Official: Kayembe to Eupen

TRANSFERS The Edo Kayembe's transfers to Eupen is done. Anderlecht announced that the Congolese signed a three years contract with the easterns canton club. According to media, the purple & white got 1 million euros for the midfielder.

Anderlecht discovered Kayembe in Congo in 2016. In November Keyembe arrived to Belgium and singed a 4.5 year contract. At the end of January 2017, Kayembe debuted under Hein Vanhaezebrouck, at the match against Eupen, where Francis Amuzu and Albert Sambi Lokonga also debuted. Those were his only play minutes that season.

In the next two season, Kayembe got to be fifteen starting places and eighteen raidings. Occasionally he was in the starting line-up for several consecutive matches, but without succed. The Congolese was praised for his efforts, but he played less and less.

With a contract singed, Kayembe close Anderlecht doors bihind him. In Eupen, he hopes to have more game minutes.
