Anderlecht contacted Twente goalkeeper

OTHER Anderlecht contacted goalkeeper Joël Drommel of Twente last summer. That revealed the 24-year-old Dutchman at Voetbal International. The Purple & White saw him as an option if Hendrik Van Crombrugge would leave.


"I was called by the technical director. Their keeper might leave to Ajax, but that did not happen", said Drommel, who has been the number one in the goal at Twente for 3.5 years.

The 24-year-old Drommel received his first invitation for the Dutch national team in November and it is time for a step higher this summer. If Anderlecht is still looking for a goalkeeper, they can report again. "The Belgian league is an option. You can see that Noa Lang is also growing very much there."
