"The cup is important for Anderlecht"

INTERVIEWS RSC Anderlecht are in the semi-finals for the Belgian Cup. Vincent Kompany admits that the cup is important for this Anderlecht and especially does not want to be too euphoric. The coach does not have a favorite opponent.


Tonight RSC Anderlecht will know their opponent in the semi-final. Kompany does not really have a favorite: "There are no more teams in this phase that can be beaten just like that. Just look at the winner of Eupen vs AA Gent"

But the coach also admits that cup is important. "It is true, the cup is very important for this Anderlecht. More important than the Anderlecht of the past. A victory could certainly give us a boost."
