Romanian top scorer linked to Anderlecht

TRANSFERS Gigi Becali, chairman of Steaua Bucharest, claims that Anderlecht has inquired about its striker Florin Tanase. The 26-year-old Romanian international scored 24 times last season and gave six assists in 34 games.


Tanase has been playing for Steaua since 2016. In his first seasons he was good for 4, 10, 10 and 7 league goals respectively, but last season he broke through with 24 goals, seven of which were penalties.

Tanase has a contract for one more season with Steaua. His market value is estimated at 5 million euros. It is also for that amount that chairman Becali wants to let him go, he would have told Anderlecht.
