Kompany: "I want to go to the group stage"

INTERVIEWS Vincent Kompany was clear: "We play at home tomorrow, so we can be regarded as the favourite. Vitesse is a difficult opponent; a modern Dutch club that is forward-oriented."


But Kompany absolutely wants to go to the group stage, which would mean the next step in the recovery process, and also counters the criticism that came from the Netherlands in recent weeks: "We have laughed at Dutch football ourselves in recent years, perhaps because of our national football team "You should not expect praise when they talk about a great Belgian team trying to get out of trouble.
