'Anderlecht follows top scorer MLS'

TRANSFERS According to the usually well-informed Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Anderlecht are following Valentin Castellanos. This 23-year-old Argentinian striker plays for New York and with 19 goals he is top scorer in the American league.


Anderlecht, however, is not the only club interested. Marseille, West Ham, Feyenoord, Cagliari and Fiorentina also have him on their radar. Castellanos already indicated that he is ready for a transfer to a European club. His contract in America does still run until December 31, 2025. His market value is estimated at 7 million euros.
