GAMES The U21 of Anderlecht won with 1-3 on the field of Zulte Waregem on Monday evening. Lucas Stassin scored twice, Mohamed Bouchouari scored the second goal in between. Anderlecht remains in the lead together with Racing Genk, although the latter have played one match less.
Anderlecht did without a lot of familiar names on Monday. Stroeykens, Debast, Kana, Sardella, Sadiki, Arnstad and Verbruggen were all missing. Fifteen-year-old Duranville started the match, Bakkali was on the bench.

Continue reading After eight minutes, Stassin opened the score. Ten minutes later, Bouchouari made it 0-2. An easy evening was in the making.
Anderlecht however missed a couple of chances to make it 0-3 and shortly after the hour, the home team got a penalty kick. Sylla converted it. 1-2. Bakkali had come on just before.
It seemed to get exciting, but five minutes later Stassin took away all doubts with his second of the evening. Anderlecht recovered after the slip-up at Charleroi and will go into the duel against Club Brugge with a good feeling.
