Juventus striker linked to Anderlecht

TRANSFERS According to the Italian website TuttoMercatoWeb, Anderlecht is showing interest in Giacomo Vrioni. This 23-year-old striker was loaned by Juventus to WSG Tirol from Austria last season. At the Austrian club, he scored 21 goals.


Vrioni is an Albanian who has been playing in Italy from a young age. In January 2020, Juventus paid 3.9 million euros to Sampdoria to acquire him. He never played more than 11 minutes in the first team. 

At WSG Tirol Vrioni completely unraveled last season. In the league he scored 19 times, in the cup twice. In addition, the center striker also gave five assists. 

Vrioni may leave Juventus this summer. Besides Anderlecht, Besiktas and Getafe are also mentioned.
