INTERVIEWS It threatens to be another difficult season for Anouar Ait El Hadj. Last weekend, he had to take place in the stands, as the 19th player on the match sheet. "I am counting on Anouar. He is a very good player. But in midfield I have many possibilities," Felice Mazzu told at his press conference yesterday afternoon.

"The choices I make today are not final. There is too much quality in my selection for that," Mazzu said. "I spoke about it with Anouar and he is very positive."

According to Mazzu, it is an option that Ait El Hadj will compete in 1B when he fails to make the bench in the first team. "It is important that he makes minutes, but that doesn't mean he will stick around in 1B," he said.

"A player who is disappointed because he is not playing can know why. I then simply explain my vision. I want to keep everyone involved as long as possible. When you are in the selection of Anderlecht, you know there is competition and you run the risk of playing less sometimes. But I think that players then have the right to know why that is."
