'Anderlecht and Parma talk about Pezzella'

TRANSFERS Italian soccer journalist Alfredo Pedulla reports that Anderlecht are currently negotiating with Parma over a transfer of Giuseppe Pezzella. Pezzella is a left winger and thus a possible reinforcement if Sergio Gomez and Francis Amuzu leave.


The 24-year-old former youth international already has more than 100 games in Serie A to his name. Two years ago, Parma paid 5.75 million euros to Udinese for him. After relegation a year ago, Parma loaned Pezzella to Atalanta Bergamo. There he collected ten places in the starting eleven and eleven substitute appearances in Serie A last season.

According to Pedulla, Anderlecht has now reported to Parma and talks have started. Pezzella is under contract for two more years at Parma, the club of Elias Cobbaut. His market value is currently estimated at 5 million euros.
