Silva: "Proud to play for Anderlecht"

INTERVIEWS With a goal, assist and pre-assist, Fabio Silva was the big man at Anderlecht. His substitution and the one of Lior Refaelov turned the match around. "It's about passion for the game," the Portuguese told us afterwards. "We came onto the pitch too weak. Nevertheless, it is important for Anderlecht to advance in the Conference League."


"We knew after the first half that something had to change," Silva told Play Sports after the game. "When you have passion, you go on the pitch with ambition. When I go on the pitch, I try to do my best both offensively and defensively. I am proud to play for Anderlecht. I feel good here and hope to win prizes."
 
"My goal? Rafa gave me a perfect assist again. It's easy to play soccer with someone like him," said Silva, whose parents watched from the stands. "Also at my debut match they were there. For me, it's important that they are here."
