'Defender Freitas on his way to Anderlecht'

TRANSFERS Brazilian media are reporting that defender Lucas Freitas is on his way to Anderlecht. Purple-White would rent the 21-year-old defender. The deal also includes a mandatory purchase option if he plays 70 percent of the games.


Freitas comes from the academy of Flamengo and moved to Valladolid in January 2020. There he played for the U19 and second team, but left after a year and a half. Palmeiras offered him accommodation. In December he played three times for the club from Sao Paulo.
