Verbeke: "We have to show healthy ambition"

INTERVIEWS In a first reaction Anderlecht CEO Peter Verbeke shows himself satisfied with the draw for the pools of the Conference League. "They are all beautiful opponents. We are looking forward to it and we can have healthy ambitions", he said.


"With West Ham we meet a team from the Premier League, the former Steaua Bucharest is a club with a rich history, while Silkeborg IF is leading the Danish league," Verbeke knows.

"Qualifying for this European group stage is an important moment for our club. We managed to set aside a quality opponent and that thanks to the support of an elated Lotto Park and the fantastic mentality of a young group of players."
