Preview: Union - Anderlecht

GAMES After Thursday's European fixture, Anderlecht has a tough day in the national competition. At 18.30h purple-white is visiting vice-champion Union. They probably have some unfinished business with their former coach Felice Mazzu.


It seems that all players have digested the long European evening well. Everyone we expect is in the selection for the match later on. It remains to be seen if certain guys did get some ailments or fatigue from the game against Young Boys and will be rested. Or whether certain guys, such as the strong entry Esposito, have played themselves into the base.

Union started the season 7 out of 12. Two weeks ago it won 2-1 against Kortrijk. Last weekend, they didn't play because opponent Antwerp had to play on a European level this week.

Last season Anderlecht lost four times against the neighbors from Brussels. We'll see if purple-white can beat them today for the first time since their return to the first division.
