Duranville almost to Dortmund

TRANSFERS On the final day of the German summer mercato, Julien Duranville was very close to a transfer to Borussia Dortmund. That is what Het Laatste Nieuws writes on the basis of several German sources. Dortmund are said to have offered 10 million euros, plus 20 percent on a resale.


Negotiations only jumped off when no agreement had been reached by the end of the transfer market. "Neither club wanted to be put with their backs against the wall," HLN quotes a source close to the file.

Duranville has a contract until 2024 at Anderlecht, which does not give purple-white a strong negotiating position. As a 15-year-old, he was only allowed to sign for three years last year. Every next year that he is still a minor, he can sign for one more season. So Anderlecht hopes to have him sign a deal until 2025 soon.
