Vertonghen: "I thought we were the better team"

INTERVIEWS RSC Anderlecht got no further than a draw in Bucharest. The match was certainly not inspiring, according to Jan Vertonghen, that was also due to a lack of confidence. Although the defender does believe Anderlecht was the better team.


"Three points would have been more than welcome but I think a draw is not bad either. In my opinion we were the better team and that gives some confidence for the return game. What we mainly lacked again was courage, the confidence to really push on. Verschaeren and Duranville do have that, they do think ahead, we have to think the same as them them and then we will be fine."
