INTERVIEWS Paul Van Himst was not present at the Lotto Park on Sunday to attend the game against Charleroi, he had promised to be present for the festivities of the return of Remco Evenpoel which took place at the same time.

He was very disappointed with the defeat against the Carolos, he would have liked a victory that would have boosted the morale of his team and its fans. He adds that his team is not demerited in the game but they have too much difficulty to score goals.

The top four is getting further and further away for the club but he still believes in the chances of the team of his heart because a series of victory can change everything in this ranking. However, what worries him is that the program they have had so far was relatively easy and that the big pieces are just coming.

It's up to Felice Mazzu to get the ship afloat, he categorically refuses to compare the current coach with Vincent Kompany but he points out that the difficulties in scoring at the beginning of the game were already present under the previous coach.

The fans showed their displeasure by whistling at their players on Sunday, this was already done in his time when the team's performances were not good. The fans of RSCA suffer from seeing their team in such a bad shape, he insists.

He doesn't want to draw a conclusion on the mercato for the moment but the balance sheet is clearly insufficient. He confirmed that he will be present for the game against the English team West Ham.
