INTERVIEWS After starting on the bench against West Ham on Thursday, Wesley Hoedt was allowed to start again yesterday. He played a secure game and was disappointed afterwards that Anderlecht did not win. "Through four or five great saves, Mignolet gave Club Brugge the points," he too noted.

"Mignolet gave his team the three points today. That is very sour for us," Hoedt told the Sporza microphone after the match. "Our reaction after the defeat against West Ham was positive. We played a good game. But we also have to remain critical: we're not going to win matches like this, we have to shoot that ball in."

"I'm proud of the team," the Dutchman continued. "We play with a lot of young guys. Only we are Anderlecht and we have to win. Through four or five great saves, however, Mignolet delivers the points to Club Brugge."

One of those saves was at the very end on an effort by Fabio Silva. "I think the ball was over the line, but unfortunately we don't have goal-line technology," Hoedt said. "That's very sour."

That Anderlecht played so well did not surprise Hoedt. "It's in this team. The only thing is to show it every game and not only in the big matches. At the moment it's not enough yet. This should be the minimum we bring. Add some more automatisms and then that goal should fall and we should win."

"We have to look ahead. Thursday we play again and that's another chance for three points. We desperately need those."
