Vandenhaute: "It can always go deeper"

INTERVIEWS It was a defeated Wouter Vandenhaute who spoke to the press yesterday afternoon. That not only Felice Mazzu is to blame, but also with the players, the chairman said. And that things could still be worse but that everyone wants to avoid that at all costs.
 


"Everyone has to look in the mirror," the chairman was honest and clear, "We had hoped that Mazzu could add just that little extra, but it didn't work out here."

It is now up to Robin Veldman to clear the players' heads because there are too many doubts in there. That has become clear in recent weeks. But it could still be worse, it could always be deeper. Hopefully the next few weeks won't prove that to us. We need to be able to breathe again and that requires good results."
