OTHER Kristian Arnstad must remain effectively sidelined for not four, but three match days. That was decided by the Disciplinary Council for Professional Football this afternoon after Anderlecht's appeal against the suspension was heard. That is one matchday less than initially demanded.

On Tuesday, Arnstad was awarded four match days effective suspension and one match day conditional after his red card last Thursday against Zulte Waregem. One match-day effective suspension now comes off that.

The punishment takes effect today. Arnstad will miss the games against Eupen (this Sunday), Antwerp (Sunday 6 November) and Racing Genk (Sunday 13 November). He must also pay a €3,500 fine.
