INTERVIEWS After yesterday's supporters' meeting, Anderlecht-Online spoke to one of the fans present. He said Jesper Fredberg and Brian Riemer made a very good impression on him. "They really wanted to come to Anderlecht and made us feel the same," he said.

After the practical explanation of the new ticket system for away matches, CEO Non-Sports Kenneth Bornauw took the floor for a moment. Afterwards, CEO Sports Fredberg and coach Riemer introduced themselves.

"Fredberg and Riemer talked about their vision and more specifically about the things they are responsible for," an attending supporter let us know. "Due to the illness of Peter Verbeke, who incidentally has not yet fully recovered, there was a standstill sport-wise. By the way, there is no intention that Verbeke will replace Kindermans as head of the academy."

"What struck me very much is that both Fredberg and Riemer are very motivated. They didn't need to leave their previous employers and were happy there, but when Anderlecht knocked on the door, they were very keen to come. They clearly made us feel that. Both of them are also interested in the academy and showed that."

According to the supporter we spoke to, the contract with Felice Mazzu is huge. "Mazzu never took the time to speak to us. His interest in the academy was also only moderate. During the consultation, the feeling prevailed with me that we wasted five precious months under Mazzu."

"Both Kenneth and Jesper and Brian took the time to answer our questions. The open letter in the morning has clearly arrived. They know the supporters expect a response this week."
