INTERVIEWS Brian Riemer does not immediately have the ideal conditions to start the topper against Club Brugge at the Jan Breydel Stadium. The supporters are angry and, on top of that, they are also not allowed to attend the match as punishment for the disturbances at Standard.

Club Brugge have therefore immediately sold all available tickets to their own supporters. Riemer will therefore immediately be introduced to an overcrowded Jan Breydel. Nevertheless, he wants to remain mostly positive.

"I can only say good things, also about the supporters. The way they gave everything during Union I think is great and admirable, it was magical. I also had a constructive meeting with the representatives of the supporters' clubs this week. We will miss them at Club Brugge."

The match then, one of life and death for both teams. "I believe in a victory. The opponent is also under pressure even though they have more points than us. I feel the group is looking forward to this match there is no lack of motivation, they want to win this match in front of the supporters. I am confident in any case."
