Silva on his way to the exit

The Portuguese is dissatisfied and a recent discussion with coach Riemer is said to have made him decide to look elsewhere. Silva would already not play tomorrow against Zulte Waregem. Should Silva actually leave, finding one or more strikers becomes an absolute priority.


Silva's mediocre physical parameters caused a discussion between the mercenary and coach Riemer. But Silva is also dissatisfied with being on an island up front almost every game, which also affects his goal production. In the beginning of the season, Silva scored regularly, but in recent months his goals have also become rare. Anderlecht are renting Silva from Wolverhampton and PSV would be the most concrete route. If no decent replacements come in for Silva, securing retention should be the only priority for this season.
