TRANSFERS According to Het Nieuwsblad and La Dernière Heure, Thomas Henry should become Anderlecht's new striker. The 28-year-old Frenchman currently plays in Italy for Hellas Verona, but impressed a few years ago at OH Leuven.

In the 2020-2021 season, Henry scored 21 times for OHL Leuven. That earned him interest from AA Gent, among others, at the time, but OHL sold the Frenchman to Italian side Venezia for €5.5 million. In his first year in Serie A, he immediately scored nine times. Last summer, Henry went to Verona. There he is a basic pawn, but has only scored twice this season.

Besides Anderlecht, Club Brugge and KV Mechelen are also said to have enquired about the 1m92 tall striker. Anderlecht, however, are said to have the best papers. Whether it is a loan or a permanent transfer is currently unknown.
