Van Crombrugge misses transfer to England

TRANSFERS Hendrik Van Crombrugge was on the verge of a transfer to Nottingham Forrest, but finally the deal fell through after all. So writes La Dernière Heure. The goalkeeper will therefore remain with Anderlechdt until June.


Van Crombrugge lost his starting place to Bart Verbruggen after the arrival of Brian Riemer. The Dutchman grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Van Crombrugge was then told that a transfer would be the best option for all parties, also because he earns a nice living and Anderlecht could thus free up budget.
