Frenay responsible for Arokodare deal

OTHER Tolu Arokodare was on his way to become Anderlecht's new striker. He even took medical tests and an agreement seemed to be in the works. The social media team followed everything to make a video. And then real estate agent Didier Freney jumped into the dance, and possibly also some employees of Mogi Bayat.


Frenay and Anderlecht have been at war for a while now. Since the transfer of Landry Dimata, Marc Coucke has accused him of cheating. Is that the reason why Frenay did this?

Arokodare works with his own agent, but he is inexperienced and sick, according to Het Nieuwsblad. Freney obviously did not negotiate the Anderlecht deal. When Genk saw Onoachu leave, he did arrive in Limburg with Arokodare. Bayat employees would also have helped. They wanted to store another player at Amiens as a replacement for Arokodare.

If Genk pushes through financially, Anderlecht cannot follow. And so Arokodare did not opt for Purple & White, but for Genk.
