INTERVIEWS Thursday, Kristoffer Olsson resumes the league with Midtjylland after a long winter break. Sporting Lisbon await in the Europa League. Danish newspaper Fotbollskanalen spoke to Olsson about his future. "I am open to a return to Anderlecht," he said.

"I left Anderlecht because I wanted a club where the coach sees something in me. That is the case here. I play a lot. I feel good here and have a role that suits me. I get to play offensively and cover big areas. I feel important," Olsson explained.

"I am 28 years old and want to play at the highest level possible. I feel I can handle a higher level than the Danish league. But it's important as a player to get what you need. For me, it's important to feel free. I do that here. If the club wants that, I can see me staying."

Meanwhile, a lot has changed at Anderlecht, though. Danes Jesper Fredberg and Brian Riemer are now in charge there. "They want things their way and I'm open to that. My manager is in contact with Anderlecht and I've been told they think I'm doing well."

So, both an extended stay at Midtjylland and a return to Anderlecht are something Olsson sees at the moment. "Both options feel good. The most important thing is that I play and that in a position where I feel good. Then football is fun."
