Anderlecht doesn't want a procedural battle over Toffolo

OTHER RSC Anderlecht filed a claim with FIFA against Nottingham Forest, for the missed transfer of left-back Harry Toffolo. FIFA declared itself incompetent, RSCA went to the TAS, which did have jurisdiction, but there's a long procedural hurdle involved and purple and white don't fancy that.


Toffolo was only going to be hired until the end of June anyway, and chances are that the procedural battle will not be complete by then. Moreover, Toffolo is currently still playing football for Nottingham Forest which would also not be conducive for the player himself.

In any case, the club will continue to monitor the left-back with a view to next season.
