INTERVIEWS Brian Riemer believes that few teams manage to win at Villarreal, but he refuses to say that RSCA stole this qualification. RSC Anderlecht hit the net 13 times while the Spaniards hit 26 but the expected goals are not far apart with 2.1 for Anderlecht against 2.9 for Villarreal, he stressed.

There was a great performance by Bart Verbruggen but above all the coach wants to congratulate his entire team. He is thinking and hoping for a national selection for his last line of defense.

He started the match with Benito Raman in attack instead of Islam Slimani, he justified this choice with the fact that he thought he could hurt the opponent with the speed of his striker. It didn't work, but it also gave the Algerian some rest for the match against OHL.

Riemer is looking forward to the next round and believes they can counter any opponent given the performance against Villareal. He especially hopes to avoid AA Gent to keep the feeling of a European match.
