Sadiki: "Proving myself first with the Futures"

INTERVIEWS Noah Sadiki is one of the guys coach Guillaume Gillet is counting on tonight to put in a good performance against title contender Beveren. The 18-year-old youth product has been somewhat out of the picture with the first team, but remains motivated. "Whether I play with the first team or the Reserves, I always roll up my sleeves," Gillet said.


"If I want to break through, I first have to prove myself at the Futures," Sadiki told Het Nieuwsblad. The versatile player says that with the youth teams he was never the vedette, but always worked hard and saw that rewarded.

With Beveren, a strong team awaits tonight. "But I always want to win, that's in my DNA," Sadiki said. "So that suits Anderlecht."
