DAMES Dennis Moerman will join the staff of Anderlecht's women's team next season. The 34-year-old Moerman will become assistant to head coach Dave Mattheus and take charge of the ladies' youth training. Noteworthy: Moerman is currently working as T1 at Club YLA, the women's team of Club Brugge.

Moerman has worked with Mattheus in the past at Gent. "The arrival of Dennis will give a further impulse to the development and professionalization of the youth training at our women's team - following the example of the successful youth training at the men's Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht," the club website reads. "As a club, we have the ambition to put even more effort into the advancement of youth players to the first team with the women as well."

"The RSCA Women have long been the top team in Belgian women's soccer," Moerman said in a first reaction. "But it doesn't stop there: a club like Anderlecht should also cherish the ambition to achieve successes in terms of youth training and advancement to the first team. That is completely in line with the club's identity. I am therefore very honored to be able to contribute to this."
