Option Mykhaylichenko may be automatically lifted

TRANSFERS According to Het Nieuwsblad, there is a very good chance that Bogdan Mykhaylichenko will permanently move to Shakthar Donetsk after this season. The newspaper knows that when some parameters are met, the option will be automatically lifted. Since the left-back is a key player, that seems likely to happen.


How high the purchase option is, the newspaper does not know. They do advance a figure of 2.5 million euros, but that comes from Ukrainian media and did not see the newspaper itself confirmed.

Mykhaylichenko has already played 28 games for Shaktar Donetsk this season: 21 in the league, four in the Champioins League and three in the Europa League. In those, he scored two goals and provided five assists.

The 26-year-old Ukrainian still has a contract with Anderlecht until mid-2024.
