INTERVIEWS Timon Wellenreuther is looking for a club after this season to take him over permanently from Anderlecht. "In the summer I won't let myself be loaned out anymore," he told Sport1. The goalkeeper wants to go to a club that can offer him guarantees of playing opportunities.

Wellenreuther says he is under contract with Anderlecht for another year and that Feyenoord has an option to buy. But whether his future lies in Rotterdam is very uncertain. The German was second goalkeeper there until number one Justin Bijlow broke his hand. During his absence he played fourteen games. Since mid-April, Bijlow has been fit again and is once again titular.

"That was pre-arranged, but tough," Wellenreuther said. "I really came in top form. I'm glad I was able to help the team, though. The gratitude from the fans makes me proud."

So where his future lies next season, Wellenreuther does not yet know. "There is interest from the Bundesliga and several talks are ongoing," he revealed.
