OTHER Thibaut Meyer and Anderlecht have mutually decided to part ways. The 35-year-old Meyer had been physical coach at purple-white since last summer. He had come over from Union together with Felice Mazzu. With Dries Bloemen, Anderlecht already has a replacement in mind.
The 32-year-old Bloemen is currently head of performance at RWDM. According to Het Belang van Limburg, it was already established two months ago that he would move to Anderlecht, but the news was not allowed to be known earlier in order not to disrupt the title race at the Brussels neighbors.
Bloemen studied at KU Leuven and started his career as a physical coach with the OH Leuven youth team. He then advanced to the first team, where he worked for four years. A year ago Vincent Euvrard took him to RWDM. So now a new step up follows
