Feyenoord make moves on final transfer Wellenreuther

TRANSFERS After a successful loan spell, Feyenoord are keen to acquire goalkeeper Timon Wellenreuther permanently from Anderlecht. So writes 1908.nl, a website with news about the Rotterdam club. Wellenreuther himself is also keen on a permanent transfer.


Wellenreuther was second goalkeeper behind Justin Bijlow at Feyenoord last season, but was allowed to play quite a few games due to Bijlow's injury. In those, he made a very good impression and contributed his part in winning the national title.

Feyenoord have already started talks with Anderlecht and Wellenreuther. The goalkeeper himself also claims interest from Schalke and other foreign clubs, but gives his priority to Feyenoord.
