Bonus package makes Anderlecht stop talks with Vazquez

TRANSFERS After 40 days of negotiations, Anderlecht have finally pulled the plug on Luiz Vasquez's dossier. So reports Argentine journalist César Luis Merlo. Purple and white had an agreement on the transfer fee, but the bonuses desired by Boca Juniors made Anderlecht pull out.


According to Merlo, Anderlecht was willing to pay $5 million (€4.54 million) for 70 per cent of Vazquez's transfer rights. However, Boca also wanted to include $2 million (€1.82 million) in bonuses in the deal. With that, Anderlecht did not agree.
