OTHER For the first time in a long time, Anderlecht played another Saturday night last weekend. "Everything went very well," said CEO Non Sports Kenneth Bornauw in Het Laatste Nieuws. The club hopes that the police will give the green light more often. This year, two more home games will be played on Saturday night.

The fact that Anderlecht hardly plays on Saturday nights is a wish of the police. The Westland Shoppingcenter is then open until 8 p.m., which can lead to major traffic problems. But so this weekend everything went well. "So we don't rule out playing in the evening more often in the coming months," Bornauw said.

By evening, Bornauw means later than 6:30 p.m., the time of Sunday home games. Or later than 7:15 or 7:30 p.m., the last starting time the Pro League uses this season for Sunday games.

Anderlecht will play five more home games this calendar year:

Saturday, Oct. 28 at 8:45 p.m.: Anderlecht - OH Leuven
Sunday, November 26 at 6.30 p.m.: Anderlecht - RWDM
Sunday, December 10 at 6.30 p.m.: Anderlecht - Standard
Saturday, December 23 at 8.45 p.m.: Anderlecht - RC Genk
Wednesday, 27 December at 8.45 p.m.: Anderlecht - Cercle Bruges
