Vertonghen called up for Red Devils after all

OTHER Jan Vertonghen is just part of the Red Devils' selection for the next two international games. Along with Zeno Debast, his name was mentioned this afternoon by national coach Domenico Tedesco when he announced his selection.


The fact that Vertonghen has been called up seems to indicate that his ankle injury is indeed not that bad. 

The Red Devils will play a practice match against Serbia on Wednesday, Nov. 15. On Sunday, Nov. 12, they conclude the European Championship qualification with a home match against Azerbaijan. Belgium is already certain of participation in the EC, but if they win, they will also be seeded in the draw.
