OTHER There is a very good chance that Union will not be able to call on Christian Burgess in the match against Anderlecht a week and a half from now. The defender received a red card Monday against Genk and will almost certainly be suspended against Anderlecht.
The Federal Prosecutor's Office requests two matches of effective suspension for Burgess. Union does not agree. As a result, the case will be heard on Friday. Friday and not Tuesday as usual. This postponement is due to the Easter weekend and the games on Easter Monday.
With a ruling, the punishment goes into effect three days later. With a hearing on Tuesday, that is on Friday. Thus, with a hearing on Friday, it is on Monday.
If Burgess effectively receives a suspension on Friday, and there is a good chance of that, the first game to which it applies is the one against Anderlecht on Sunday, April 14.
Union also could not count on defenders Kevin MacAllister and Koki Machida last weekend. However, the Unionists hope to recover them soon.
