Verschaeren's return is imminent

INJURIES Anderlecht has been hit hard by the prolonged absence of Thorgan Hazard, but can look forward to the return of Yari Verschaeren. At the end of the regular season, Verschaeren had to leave the field early because of a muscle injury. This prevented him from participating in the playoffs. Verschaeren is now on the road to recovery and can partly practice with the group again, his return is imminent.


Possibly this weekend's match against Racing Genk will come too soon, but Anderlecht could use him for the double confrontation against Cercle Brugge.
